Das Projekt untersucht die hydrologische Modellierung intermittierender Gewässer im Einzugsgebiet des Mertvovid in der Ukraine.
The Lower Bug region is one of Ukraine’s most water-deficient areas, making studies of small rivers crucial. Hydrological and hydrochemical data are scarce, but hydromodeling enables predictions and effective water management under climate change.
The Lower Pobuzhye region faces severe water scarcity. After the 2022 destruction of the Dnipro-Buzkyi Canal, Mykolaiv lost its only drinking water source. Local rivers, though needing treatment, offer less saline alternatives to estuary water.
